About the UHLC BLSA
The University of Houston Law Center Black Law Students Association (UHLC BLSA) is a chapter of the National Black Law Students Association dedicated to empowering Black law students through academic support, professional development, and community engagement.

UHLC BLSA actively serves both the Law Center and the greater Houston community through initiatives such as:

• Community Outreach — Hosting large-scale food drives and service events that support hundreds of local families.

• Professional Development — Partnering with organizations like the Houston Lawyers Association to offer networking opportunities, career panels, and the annual BLSA Banquet.

• Undergraduate Support — Collaborating with the Black Pre-Law Student Association at the University of Houston (BPSAUH) to mentor and prepare undergraduate students for law school.
